About Us

ABC is a Motorcycle Training school, which has been formed to promote the health and safety issues that are often ignored when adults or youngsters decide to purchase a motorbike or scooter. The current climate is already showing signs that people may take this option of purchasing a bike to get them to and from work and this will prove economical to them, rather than the expense of a car. Youngsters have always found motorbikes attractive and have often ridden them without any knowledge of the dangers that can come with them. At ABC Motocycle Training we provide a high standard motorbike training and testing, with a good reputation ABC motorcycle training is the place to go.

ABC aims to raise awareness of the dangers to the public, particularly the younger age groups, by providing an excellent CBT training course that has been adapted to fit the needs of each trainee by incorporating different learning methods. This way there is no time limit or pressures put onto the trainee and they can achieve their CBT certificate either during group work or on a one-to-one basis.

John Kershaw

John is the proprietor of ABC Motorcycle Training, Swindon and is a fully qualified DSA Training Instructor. John is also qualified in ROSPA, Institute of Advanced Motoring, EDGE 44 and Bike Safe. He has been motorcycling since his teens. He comes from a police background, and is very aware of just how dangerous motorcycling can be when the rider is inexperienced. He set up this business so he can pass on his expertise to the next generation of bikers.

John is also aware there are many schools out there doing motor cycle training. However, there are many different methods of training, suitable for different individuals, and he has taken this on board and set up a programme to suit all needs.

 
   
 

Lucas Kershaw

Lucas is the youngest member of ABC Motorcycling Training, and is apprenticed in motorcycle maintenance. One of his ambitions is to be one of the youngest Motorcycle Instructors in the UK.
